Professional Experience:

1. Evolven Software:   A New Jersey, US based Software Company specialising in IT automation/operations analytics (ITOA) and providing SaaS.

Started out of Rosh Haayin, Israel and operating from New Jersey, US, Evolven has a dedicated team for PR and Marketing where I play a vital role.

Role: Social Media Manager / Strategist.

1. Creation and updating social media policy (both internal & external),
2. Devising and executing the social presence of the brand over all the possible platforms,
3. Social listening and monitoring on a daily basis,
4. Creation of weekly and monthly reports on the basis of the monitoring, (for social listening and monitoring I prefer using free platforms like Topsy, Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics),
5. Create and Curate contents for the social channels on a daily basis,
6. Preparing SEO friendly content for the Evolven Blog,
7. Tracking the blog conversions,
8. Tracking the social conversions,
9. Preparation of ad copy ad image for all the social ads ranging from twitter to Linkedin ads,
10. Tracking the ads as per their performances on an A/B testing basis,
11. Tracking conversions from the ads,

12. Retouching the social media, social ads and content strategies as per the reports, feedback and the conversions,
13. Reporting on a monthly, half-yearly and annually to the VP of Marketing.

Achievements: Brand awareness to the level of Gartner Cool Vendor 2013 and Red Herring Top 100 resulted out of the social media mix with PR.

2. Social Media Club:   World’s largest organisation for social media professionals established in the year 2006 in CA, US.

With my contents for SMC blogs for the last 3 and half years, I’m contributing in a SEO and branding friendly way to website.

Role: Editorial Team Member.

Duration: December 2010 to December 2013.

As an editor, I had to:

1. Pick a topic from a list of current interests/trends or suggest one to work on,
2. Develop a content schedule for my posts,
3. Research and rephrase,
4. Sometime curation plays a big role while covering trends,
5. Preparing drafts (personally I prefer having a raw sketch of the content flow for my articles),
6. Developing the content with point wise and logical approach,
7. Reporting the draft copy to the Content Manager in SMC HQ,

8. Finally revising and devising as per the instructions from the Content Manager.

Achievements: Under the banner of SMC, I founded Social Media Club Assam in 2011 and we’re now one of the fastest growing and largest not-for-profit communities in the field of digital literacy in the North-Eastern region of India.

3. Social Media Simplify & eLive Writers: The digital & social media and article marketing consultancy period of my professional life.

From August 2009 to October 2011, I took on consulting as a full-time profession.
To learn, we have to go beyond the shores. This period was almost like leaving the shores on my own.

5. NumaligarhRefinary Ltd.: Numaligarh Refinery Ltd.  is an well-known refinery  in Assam, India with its  operations spreading all  over India.

Did my Summer Project under the curriculum of the Post Graduate Diploma I have in management.
Role: Team Lead.  Team size: 2 members.
Duration: 2 Months.
Project: Applicability of MILK RUN system in the transportation model used by NRL to dispatch its products.

6. Guest Faculty, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Guwahati

July 2014 – till date.

Teaching digital and social media to the entrepreneurs and college/school teachers, is what I do here as a guest faculty.

I sincerely aim to diminish that gap in the use and utilisation of digital media in my area when compared to rest of India.

As a guest faculty for New Media, I mostly cover the part of syllabus containing Emerging Trends in Information Communication Technology.
